Ephesians

  1. 5:15  See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,
  2. 16  Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
  3. 17  Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.
  4. 18  And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit;
  5. 19  Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;
  6. 20  Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
  7. 21  Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
  8. 22  Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
  9. 22  Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
  10. I Peter

  11. 3:1  Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conversation of the wives;
  12. 2  While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.
  13. 3  Whose adorning let it not be that outward adorning of plaiting the hair, and of wearing of gold, or of putting on of apparel;
  14. 4  But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.
  15. 5  For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:
  16. 6  Even as Sara obeyed Abraham, calling him lord: whose daughters ye are, as long as ye do well, and are not afraid with any amazement.
  17. Ephesians

  18. 5:22  Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.
  19. 24  Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.
  20. Numbers

  21. 30:1  And Moses spake unto the heads of the tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded.
  22. 2  If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.
  23. 3  If a woman also vow a vow unto the LORD, and bind herself by a bond, being in her father's house in her youth;
  24. 4  And her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall hold his peace at her: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.
  25. 5  But if her father disallow her in the day that he heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and the LORD shall forgive her, because her father disallowed her.
  26. 6  And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul;
  27. 7  And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her in the day that he heard it: then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.
  28. 8  But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and the LORD shall forgive her.
  29. 9  But every vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced, wherewith they have bound their souls, shall stand against her.
  30. 10  And if she vowed in her husband's house, or bound her soul by a bond with an oath;
  31. 11  And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and disallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.
  32. 12  But if her husband hath utterly made them void on the day he heard them; then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them void; and the LORD shall forgive her.
  33. 13  Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void.
  34. 14  But if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day; then he establisheth all her vows, or all her bonds, which are upon her: he confirmeth them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard them.
  35. 15  But if he shall any ways make them void after that he hath heard them; then he shall bear her iniquity.
  36. The Acts

  37. 5:9  Then Peter said unto her, How is it that ye have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? behold, the feet of them which have buried thy husband are at the door, and shall carry thee out.
